Saddler and the Pro Caster on a Streak!
Drew Saddler is getting some double takes when he walks to the scales these days as he has won the last three tournaments he has fished in. Drew reports that he is catching his fish on a 1/2 Pro Caster in the Cumberland Craw color. Drew is catching smallmouth and KY's with a few large mouth mixed in.

Did he Win the South Central? What type of weights did it take to win this weekend
ReplyDeleteWe had between 12-15lbs in the three. Myself and Brian Richmond fished this past Sunday and finished 10th. Weights were down a bit, we had 10 and some change. It took 11 lbs. to win. Caught some this week on the 1/2oz. Barren Craw football jig. Smallies are picking up some, but for some reason the bite has been later in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI think you had a typo I heard you finished 2nd.
ReplyDeleteHas anybody been weighing smallmouth in any of the tournaments on Cumberland? It's about time for some smallies to start showing up.
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes that was a typo. Thanks for the correction. We've been weighing in a few here and there. Usually between 2-3 per tournament. There have been a few days if things went right we could've had a limit of smallies. But, with the way the smallies bite at C-land those days are far and few between.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info.
